Belmont Kidz On A Bus

Hello Belmont Kidz friends and family!

Walking around Long Beach, you may have noticed a couple familiar faces on the side of a bus advertising Belmont Kidz children’s store and the LB Pacific Gateway internship programs. This program connects youth looking for work experience with local business owners looking for help growing their brand.

I don’t have the words to express the gratitude I feel towards this program. I took over the store in June, not realizing how much work it takes to run a consignment store– the previous business owner, Miguel, directed me to the Youth Opportunity Center, where I was added to the list of choices a youth could spend their internship at.

These interns that were connected to me through this program have helped me maintain the store and grow the business. There have been a few mishaps– nobody’s perfect– and if you’re willing to take a chance, it’s a wonderful program to help any small business grow.

Patience and gratitude goes back long way! I open up my doors to any of you business owners that have questions about my experience with Pacific Gateway.

Thank you Pacific Gateway for helping grow my business!
